Review: Deadly Dance: A Daath Short Story

Deadly Dance: A Daath Short Story Deadly Dance: A Daath Short Story by Eliza Tilton
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Unlikely Allies?

This series must be read in order. The first book is Broken Forest. The second book is Wicked Path. This is the third book. I can't wait to read Crimson Tides!

Derrick is trying to get on with his life since Jeslyn turned down his marriage proposal. Being a Blacksmith keeps him plenty busy... Especially since there seems that there will soo be a war on. When Lucy approaches him about finding Jeslyn and her missing brother he wonders why he should care. Can he trust Lucy? Should he do the right thing and try and save Jeslyn yet again? Or should he just forget the whole thing and keep working like nothing is wrong? Could he live with himself if something happened to Jeslyn. Would Avikar ever forgive him?

Lucy is in a bind. Her brother Luciano is missing... As well as the pesky Jeslyn. She needs to find him before the other Reptiles find out something is wrong. Can she convince Derrick to help in the search? Will she find Luciano before it is too late? What could he possibly be up to now?

***This series is suitable for mature young adult through adult readers who enjoy a bit of SciFi and aliens in their fantasy action adventures with plenty of intrigue, mystery, suspense and romance :)
