Review: Off to Be the Wizard

Off to Be the Wizard Off to Be the Wizard by Scott Meyer
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Finding The Master Code

I read the Kindle In Motion version of this book and it was pure awesomeness! I hope the rest of the series is Kindle In Motion as well! This series must be read in order. This is the first book. I can't wait to read/experience the next one!

Martin was just an average computer geek until he found The File.... Then everything changed. Though shaken to his core, Martin sees the potential for great things in his newfound ability to manipulate reality. If everyone and everything is just computer code... Then almost anything is possible! The prospects are both thrilling and terrifying in almost equal measure. Unable to travel forward in time, the distant past seems like a good place to hide, if things go sideways. After all, who doesn't want to be a wizard? Who or what created the File? Can anyone find it? Or do you have to be special? What are the File's limits? Will Martin get away with altering the file? Or will he get caught? It can't be illegal to modify it... Can it? How many other people know about the File? Is it dangerous?

***This series is suitable for young adult through adult readers who enjoy modern fantasy with a hacker/cyberpunk twist filled with magic, mayhem, mystery, adventure, intrigue, SciFi, plenty of humor and a dash of maybe romance :)
