Review: Love Burns

Love Burns Love Burns by Mandi Beck
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

•••I listened to the Audible Audio Edition of this book•••

Wen Ross and Kai Kennicott truly made these characters enjoyable (even when you wanted to throttle them...) And brought the story to life. The way they play off each other is a real treat. Each character is portrayed as an individual, complete with quirks and mannerisms. This was a really fun listen and wrapped up the support very nicely. I can't wait to listen to what they do next!

Must Win The Princess

This series must be listened to (or read) in order. The first book is Love Hurts. This is the second, and final, book.

Reeling from the loss of one of their own everyone grieves in their own way. From self destructive behavior and recriminations to doubt and depression the characters experience all the stages of grief before finally finding their way to acceptance and moving on with their lives. The amount of growth from all the characters is awe inspiring and makes this book both uplifing and intense. It was a unique experience and I am truly glad I stuck with it :)

***This series is suitable for adult listeners (or readers) who enjoy MMA romantic thriller suspense with plenty of angst and violence as well as some intrigue and two characters who can't seem to get out of their own way most of the time but eventually leading to a HEA :)

But it gives her plenty of time to think and a place to stay. These Hunters are good people and she even makes a new friend Jynx. Everything changes when she finds the new guest dead from... Well she isn't really sure. Can she and Jynx get to the bottom of who or what killed the man? Should she call Raven for help? Or just forget that something is odd about the way he died? Degrees Of Evil

This is a stand alone novel as far as I can tell. I don't see how there could possibly be a sequel!

That is what God wants or he wouldn't be there! Can he convince the other priests to release Sabine into his care? Or will their zealotry make them turn on him for trying to protect the girl? Can he win her free? Or will he be forced to witness an atrocity he will never recover from?
