Review: Beastly Bones

Beastly Bones Beastly Bones by William Ritter
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

You Are What You Eat

This series must be read in order. The first book is Jackaby. The second book is The Map. This is the third book. I can't wait to read Ghostly Echoes!

Miss Rook loves her job as Jackaby's assistant most of the time but she misses Palaeontology and feels that he takes her for granted at times. When she hears of a case connected to an intact dinosaur skeleton she can't wait to investigate! But Jackaby takes some convincing, in the form of the head of the police asking them to look into mysterious deaths in the area of the dig. Both are excited about the case for entirely different reasons... Will they ever come to terms and quit working at cross purposes? Will they figure out who is behind all the recent odd occurances that have been happening around them with such regularity? Will Charlie be happy to see her again?

**This series is suitable for mature young adult through adult readers who enjoy historical supernatural mystery suspense thriller action adventures Sherlockian in nature and full of dry wit and wry humor and a dash of romance :)
