Review: Broken Bones

Broken Bones Broken Bones by Deja Black
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Nightmares And Fantasies

This seems to be a stand alone novel. I wish it wasn't! I definitely will read more books by this very talented author :)

Dan picked the WRONG mate... Not that he can truly remember picking Keith. It just sort of happened. He was leaving because he knew he deserved better... That was until Keith found out and brutalized him. Now he is fighting for his life as well as his self worth and dignity. Will he ever feel strong again? Who is this doctor who is taking such good care of him? Why does he feel this way about him after only seeing him once? Will he ever escape Keith for good? Will his adoptive family ever forgive him? Will he ever forgive himself? What is with all the nightmares and vivid fantasies?

Aiden is a doctor because he enjoys helping humans. He wants to heal people not hurt them. Finding his intended mate almost dead and abused to the edge of death by his evil brother has left him furious. Will he ever be able to tell Dan the truth of what they are meant to be to each other? Or will he give up and go back to the other side forever? Will he be able to help Dan heal and protect him from Keith? Or will his fear keep him alone and lonely forever?

***This book is suitable for adult readers of the non squeamish variety who enjoy a large helping of graphic horror (including rape, attempted murder and psychological abuse by a domestic partner) in their m/m LGBTQIA paranormal romance urban fantasy with a HEA that leaves you happy but wanting to know more about all the supporting characters :)

°°°NOT for the homophobic or closed minded!°°°
