Review: Getting Worked Up

Getting Worked Up Getting Worked Up by Erin Nicholas
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Marriage Pacts Go Awry...

This series MUST be read in order! The first book is Getting Out Of Hand. This is the second book.

Phoebe is in love with Matt... She has been (or thinks she has) for at least the last three years if not her whole life. They make sense... He's the king to her queen of the most liked in town. There is just one tiny little problem... He has gone and fallen in love with Braniac Barbie (ie Nadia) and has already informed her he is going to be proposing at the town festival which is right around the corner! How will she make him see the error of his ways and make him marry her instead?!

Joe has had enough. Enough of crazy over the top women and his jet setting ways... Enough of waking up in strange places alone and with no idea where he is or how he got there. And just in time it seems as Nadia (who has ALWAYS been in love with him) has informed him she is in love with Matt and is going to propose to him. He had his wild year and he is ready to settle down with her and get married like they had planned... How did their plans go wrong?! Does she not care about him anymore?! He has come to Sapphire Falls to stop her from making a huge mistake and ruining both of their lives.

I love how everyone in Sapphire Falls is always looking out for each other (if the help is wanted or not!) And always has everyone's best interests at heart! I have never personally found a town like it but I know others that have and am really glad these places do actually exist :) This is a well thought out and heartwarming series that will suck you in and keep you wanting more! And I sure do want (make that NEED) more and will be anxiously awaiting the next book I am sure to devour in less than a day (again as I have no self control-who needs sleep anyways?) As I did with this one! It really was awesome even if I am still firmly in Club Mason! HeHe good luck replacing him Ms. Nicholas!

***This series is suitable for adult readers who enjoy detailed steamier than steamy plotcentric sex scenes in their small town contemporary romances with real world issues and ALWAYS a HEA for her very loveable and realistic characters :)
