Review: Under Different Stars

Under Different Stars Under Different Stars by Amy A. Bartol
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Finding HOME

This series must be read in order. This is the first book. I can't wait to see what happens in the next book Sea Of Stars!

Kricket is in hiding. She can't let anyone catch her before her eighteenth birthday. Especially not from social services! There is no way she is going into another foster home or group home. She couldn't take it! It is hard enough hiding her oddities from her friends... Like the fact if she cuts her hair it immediately burns and grows back... Explain that. Why is she different? Did she ever really have parents? Or were they just a dream? Who are the guys chasing her? What do they want from her?

Trey wants to bring Kricket back home. She has to face the music! She belongs on Ethar not Earth and it is only a matter of time before she is found out. He wants to protect her and get her safely back home to face her punishments... But he is drawn to her in some inexplicable way. Why can't he think of living without her? How has she become so important to him? Will he be able to get her home safely?

***This series is suitable for mature young adult through adult readers who like a little star crossed romance in their alien sci-fi action adventure new adult coming of age paranormal sagas with a dash of horror :)
