Review: The Depot: When Life and Death Cross Tracks

The Depot: When Life and Death Cross Tracks The Depot: When Life and Death Cross Tracks by Carmen DeSousa
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

•••I listened to the Audible Audio Edition of this book•••

~~~This book was included in the Audible Audio Edition of The Library: Where Life Checks Out~~~
The Police Detective, The Beautiful Girl, And The Ghost?
This series must be listened to (or read) in order. The first book is The Pit Stop: This Stop Could Be Life Or Death. This is the second book. I can't wait to listen to The Library: Where Life Checks Out!
This was a fun and short mystery involving an apparent suicide just outside a notoriously haunted reseraunt bar that used to be a train depot. Mark is the police detective assigned to get to the bottom of it all. Will he figure out what happened? What would make a wealthy, attractive young man with a great job, a gorgeous and sweet girlfriend and his whole life ahead of him take his own life? Was he murdered? Or helped along in any way?
This book is more like a prequel short story or novella than an actual novel. It can easily be listened to (or read) in one sitting. I really enjoyed this bonus short story and can't wait to start reading the next one!
***This book is suitable for mature young adult through adult listeners (and readers) who enjoy short supernatural mysteries with a bit of romance and ghostly intervention :)
